WHAT TO DO IN HAI PHONG

There are many activities tourists can take part in when in Hai Phong. Of course, swimming is a given; however, the popular tourist hotspot is also a hit with locals because of massage and karaoke. In Do Son, both the Vietnamese and foreign visitors can sing to their hearts' content or just relax and unwind with a massage.

In Cat Ba Island, there are two activities tourists should try. One is an island tour, which is a must in every traveller's itinerary. In a three-day, two-night tour, one does not only get to explore Cat Ba Island; he or she can also enjoy what Halong Bay has to offer.

On the tour, people can visit different limestone caves, islets and beaches and see picturesque views. The second activity is rock climbing and Cat Ba is an ideal destination for this because of its rugged limestone mountains and high, almost vertical cliffs.
